Description

Hustler OEM 122905 Hydraulic Drive Idler Arm

The Genuine Hustler OEM 122905 Idler Arm is a Factory Replacement Component used in Select Hustler Hydro Drive Belt Drive Systems. This Part Helps Maintain Proper Belt Tension and Alignment by Transferring Tension from the Tension Spring to the Hydraulic Belt Via the Idler Pulley. Hustler 122905 is Made to Maintain Variable Adjustment on the Hydraulic Drive Belt - Losing the Variable Adjustment Ability Will Cause the Belt to Lose Tension. Whenever Replacing Either, The Idler Arm or the Pivot Bushing, it is Recommend Checking Each (Idler Arm & Pivot Bushings) for Wear to Determine if Both (Idler Arm & Pivot Bushings) Should be Replaced at the Same Time.

Worn Idler Arms Will Cause:

  • Belts to Slip from Not Maintaining Constant Tension
  1. Cause Jerking or the Loss of Drive Traction
  2. Creating Chattering Noise of the Belt / Hydro & Engine Pulley Making Inconsistent Contact
  3. Cause Inconsistent Drive Tracking
  4. Cause Inconsistent & Consistent Belt Burn and Taring
  5. Cause Belt Snapping or Tearing

  • Hydraulic Drive Belt & Pulleys Mis-Alignment
  1. Causing the Hydraulic Belt to Consistently & Progressively Come Off
  2. Causing Loss of Drive Traction
  3. Cause Inconsistent Belt Wear, Tearing and Snapping
