The genuine Hustler OEM 606713 Bearing Race is a Precision-Machined Component Designed to Support Smooth Bearing Operation. 606713 is the Outside of a 1 of a 2 Piece Bearing System and Provides the Outside Hardened Surface that allows the Inside Roller Bearings to Rotate Against Under Load, Reducing Friction and Extending Bearing Component Life. 606713 Bearing Race is commonly used in the Front Axle with Roller Bearing 606712.

Assembly Notes - For Commonly Used Caster Fork Applications
606713 Is a One of a Two Pieces Bearing - 606713 is the Outer Race and 606712 is the Tapered Roller. Whenever Replacing 606713 it is Recommended Replacing the 606712 Roller Bearing & 606714 Lower Grease Seal with 606713 Bearings Race.
WHEN CHANGING 606713 BEARINGS RACE:
- Take Pictures to Document Order of Components When Removing Caster Components - Refer to The Diagrams Above in the Image Section - Or Refer to Caster Fork Installations Directions for the Correct Caster Fork for your Unit for Assembly Help if Needed.
- If Replacing 606713 Bearing Race Because it is Worn or Damaged it is always Recommended to Replace 606712 Roller Bearings, 606713 Bearing is the Smooth Alloy Surface that the Rollers on Bearing 606712 Will Travel Across - Damaged Races will Typically Reflect Damage and Wear to the Roller Bearings.
- 606713 Bearing Races are a Press/Friction Fit and Will Require them to be Pressed or Pounded Out of the Caster Fork Tube - When Installing a New 606713 Race it Is Recommended to Utilize a Bearing Race Installation Tool to Ensure No Damage Occur to the Inner Race Surface.
- Pack the Rollers on the Bearing with Grease and Spread Some Along the Outer 606713 Race where the Bearing Rollers Travel as Well as Fill & Pack the Voided Areas where nothing is inside the Caster Fork Tubing - this will Ensures the Bearing Rollers and Race Surface Don't Overheat from Lack of Lubrication - If Necessary, Remove the Grease Plug After Installing the Caster Fork and Install a 1/4" Grease Zirk to Install Grease Into The Voided Areas of the Caster Tubing.
- When Assembling Race & Bearings in Caster Fork Tubes - Be Sure to Assemble the Race with the Thicker Section Installed First into the Caster Tube so the Small Side of Bearing (Tapered Side) Inserts into the Caster Fork Tube First and Sits into the Bearing Race Properly (Should Fit Like a Glove).
- It Will Be Necessary to remove the Lower Grease Seal to Install & Remove the Lower 606712 Bearing - it is Always Recommended to Replace the Seal with the Bearing to Ensure Grease Retention and Protect from Dirt and Contamination Between the Bearing and Race.

When Assembling the Washer on Caster Fork Ass. - Be Sure to Install the Cup on the Washers as Installed in the Images Below - Requires Three Washers Per Caster Axle.
- Over Tightening the Tapered Bearing into the Bearing Race when Re-Assembling the Roller Bearings and Caster Fork Could Reduce the Rotation of the Caster Fork and Wheel as Well as Affect Drive Track and Cause Pre-Mature Wear on the Bearing Rollers and Race - Be Sure to Refer to The Correct Caster Fork Directions For your Unit for Complete Caster Fork Installations as well as Caster Fork Fastener Torque Specifications.
