The Hustler OEM 603022 Screw is used in specific Models with Mower Decks that Utilize the Hustler Poly Idler Slide Rails Part Numbers 602936 (Assembled on the Inside or Bottom of the Mower Deck Inserting through the Mower Deck and into the UHMW Slide Rail). If Replacing the Just the Hardware Be sure to Check 602936 Idler Rail Slides for Wear. Spring Measurement & Belt Tension Notes
For correct Mower Deck Belt tension, Select Hustler Mower Decks with the adjustable 21 Link Chain and 781302 Tension Spring Combination use a **spring measurement from outside hook to outside hook** spring measurement from hook to hook on models that use should be 9.3 in. - 10.0 in. Review the Image Below for example of Measurement. (For Additional Spring Measurement Length Refer to manufacturer notes in Mower Deck Belt routing section of Service Manual).
