Preventing Water and Dirt Contaminates from Eventually Working Themselves into the Idler Pulley Bearing Prematurely Causing Idler Pulley Failures. 602963 Contains a Wider Girth and Typically is Used on 8" 602838 & 10" 602743 Mower Deck Idler Pulley's.
Hustler Idler Pulley's On Hustler Commercial Mowers will Use Three Common Types of Dust Shields - Refer to the Dust Shield/Idler Pulley Usage Chart to Determine the Correct Dust Shield for the Correct Idler Pulley Usage. All the Referred to Idler Pulley's and Idler Pulley Shield will be used Only with 5/8" Fasteners.
