Reduced-Kickback Design: STIHL RAPID Super 3 features single-humped drive links designed to reduce kickback tendency compared with standard RAPID Super chain. However, reduced-kickback features do not eliminate the possibility of kickback or the risk of serious injury.
Kickback Safety: STIHL recommends using low-kickback, green-labeled saw chain with green-labeled reduced-kickback guide bars where appropriate for the powerhead and application. Always follow the chainsaw manufacturer's operating and safety instructions.
Important: This is a standard 3/8" pitch chain. Do not substitute 3/8" Low Profile (Picco), .325", or other pitch chains. The chain pitch must match the guide bar nose and drive sprocket, and the .050" gauge must match the guide bar groove.

Installation & Sharpening Tips
- Shut off the chainsaw and disconnect the spark plug or remove the battery before servicing the cutting attachment.
- Verify that your guide bar requires a 16" chain with 3/8" pitch, .050" gauge, and exactly 60 drive links.
- Do not select this chain based on 16" bar length alone. Pitch, gauge, and drive-link count must all match.
