Important – Professional Chain: STIHL 33 RS is an aggressive full-chisel chain with reduced-vibration features but no significant kickback-reduction features. It is intended for trained, experienced professional chainsaw operators.
Kickback Safety: STIHL recommends using low-kickback, green-labeled saw chain with green-labeled reduced-kickback guide bars where appropriate for the powerhead and application. Improper use of aggressive cutting chain can increase the risk of serious injury from kickback.
Important: This is a standard 3/8" pitch chain. Do not substitute 3/8" Low Profile (Picco), .325", or other pitch chains. The chain pitch must match the guide bar nose and drive sprocket, and the .050" gauge must match the guide bar groove.
Long-Bar Warning: A 32" guide bar requires a chainsaw with sufficient power, proper chain lubrication, and manufacturer approval for the bar length. Not every chainsaw in the general recommended displacement range is suitable for a 32" cutting attachment.

STIHL RAPID Super saw chain incorporates the OILOMATIC® lubricating system. Specially engineered lubrication slots in the drive links help channel bar oil toward the rivets and other critical wear areas while the chain is operating.
Directing lubrication to these high-wear areas helps reduce friction and wear, maximizes the effectiveness of the bar and chain oil, and contributes to longer service life.
The chain is also factory pre-stretched to help reduce excessive chain tension adjustments during the initial break-in period.

Installation & Sharpening Tips
- Shut off the chainsaw and disconnect the spark plug or remove the battery before servicing the cutting attachment.
- Verify that your guide bar requires a 32" chain with 3/8" pitch, .050" gauge, and exactly 105 drive links.
- Do not select this chain based on 32" bar length alone. Pitch, gauge, and drive-link count must all match.
- Confirm that your chainsaw is approved for use with a 32" guide bar.
