Installation Tips
- Park the mower on a flat surface, shut the engine off, remove the key, and disconnect the spark plug wires before service.
- Take a picture of the belt routing before removing the old belt.
- Inspect all idler pulleys and spindle pulleys for rough bearings, wobble, or groove wear before installing the new belt.
- Make sure the belt is fully seated in every pulley groove before engaging the deck.
- After installation, run the deck briefly at low throttle and recheck belt tracking.
- Do not pry the belt over pulleys with sharp tools, as this can damage the belt cords.
