Description

Hustler OEM 113340P Pusher Assembly

Hustler OEM 113340P Pusher Assembly is a Heavy-Duty Metal Assembly Designed to Brace and Support your Mower Deck from Shifting Left to Right and Front to Back as well Leaving it Pivot up and down. This welded Linkage and Pivot piece is Critical for Deck Drive Configurations to help Retain Position of the Mower Deck, so the Belt Stays Aligned as the Deck is Lowered and Raise or Allowing the Mower Deck to Float on Uneven Terrain (Via the Anti-Scalp Wheels and Mower Deck Chains) Without Having the Mower Deck Shift Left To Right and Damaging Other Mower Deck Components. 113340P also Pushes and Retains the Mower Deck to Allow Proper Spring Tension to Remain Constant Between the Mower Deck Tensioner Idler Pulley and the Mower Deck Belt. If the original pusher is bent, cracked at the welds, or has worn pivot bores/bushings, you’ll often see uneven Mower Deck Belt Wear, Squealing Mower Deck Belts, Mowe Deck Belts Jumping off, Inconsistent Mower Deck Belt Tension, Un-even Grass Cutting and Increase Difficulties Raising and Lowering the Mower Deck.

* It Is Recommended to Replace the Mower Deck Belt at the same When Replacing 113340P - Worn or Broken Mower Deck Pusher Often Cause Wear or Damage to the Mower Deck Belt

* Part Number 113340 Supersedes to Part Number 113340P

  • OEM Part Number: 113340P, 113340
  • Part Name: Mower Deck Pusher
  • Function: Supports Correct Movement of the Mower Deck Drive Linkage (idler/tensioning system) for stable belt tension and alignment
  • Genuine Hustler OEM: Correct fit, finish, and geometry for the listed applications

Installation Tips (Replacement Direction)

  • Safety first: Park on level ground, remove key, set brake, and disconnect spark plug wires (or disable ignition) before working under/around the deck.
  • Relieve belt tension: Remove the deck belt or release tension at the idler system so the linkage isn’t spring-loaded while you remove hardware.
  • Make Unit Accessible to Repair: If Needed Jack the Back of the Unit and Install Properly Rated Jack Stands (Make Sure Jack Stands are Secure and Won't Come Undone) then Remove the Rear Wheel Assembly.
  • Document orientation: Take a quick photo of the Linkage layout and Fastener orientation before disassembly—this prevents reversed installation.
  • Inspect pivot points: If the old pusher shows egg-shaped holes or other wear Replacing only the Pusher Sometimes leaves slop and a Reoccurrence of the same Problem (inspect the Idler Pulley Idler Arm, Idler Pulley and Spindle Bearing too if you are Having Trouble with Mower Deck Belts Breaking or Coming off).
  • Install the new 113340P: Install bolts/nuts finger-tight first, then torque.
  • Reinstall Wheel Assembly if Removed: Reinstall Wheel Assembly, Torque Weel Lugs 65-75 Ft. Lbs., Jack Unit Up, Remove Jack Stand, Lower the Jack and the Unit.
  • Operate the Deck Linkage: Sit on the Unit, Raise and Lower the Mower Deck Confirming the is No Binding with Mower Deck Linkage.
  • Reinstall belt & test: Install the belt, confirm it’s seated in every pulley groove, make sure any Safety Shield that Where Removed are Re-installed, then run the deck briefly at low throttle and re-check tracking and tension.

Mechanical Notes

  • If you’re repeatedly throwing belts, don’t stop at the pusher—check pulley alignment, idler bearing drag, and spindle bearing smoothness.
  • After install, recheck hardware torque after the first mowing session—newly seated parts can relax slightly.
