- NOTES & DETAILS: Toro OEM 108-4897 IS COMMINLY USED - 108-4897 QZE Cable is a One of a Two-Part Cable System. - 108-4897 Cable Ends - 108-4898 (Longer or Lower Cable) & 108-4897 (Shorter or Upper Cable) Attach together by Attaching in the Handle assembly that Enable the Operator to Push or Pull - Both of the Lower Ends of both Cable's Attach to the Discharge Chute Pinion Gear 108-4875 Which Operates the Discharge Chute Gear 108-4882 That is Fasten to the Discharge Chute 108-4939. - 108-4897 The Cable Itself - 108-4898 Longer and Lower Cable Fastens as the Lower Cable and is Routed Around the Cable Slider Pulley 108-4907 and into the Slider Handle Assembly. 108-4897 Shorter or Upper Cable is Routed Directly into the Slider Handle Assembly. Both Cables Fastens through a Series of Fasteners and Clamps that retain it to the Snowblower Assembly and are routed down the Handle and Retained to the Cable Bracket 136-7132 Via a Washer Head Bolt 32144-85 and Removable Cable Clamps 136-7191 - From there Both Cables Clip into (Via the Plastic Clip Ends) the Pinion Gear Bracket 108-4900-03. - 108-4898 & 108-4897 Deflector Cable Assembly - Enable the Operator to Push or Pull on the Slider Handle Assembly and Turn the Forward and Reverse Motion of the Handle into a Rotational Left to Right Chute Rotation by Allowing the Pinion Gear that Operates the Main Chute to Rotate. Only Serves the Purpose of Operating the Left to Right Rotation of the Discharge Chute - this Also Enables the Operator to Easily Control the Discharge of Snow Travel Preventing Blowing Snow and Debris Against Vehicles or other Object, Items and Areas.
